<description>I have been fortunate enough to be entrusted with designing the logos and looks of The History Press's various social media projects on twitter. Including the @TitanicRealTime project, which marked 100 years since the sinking of the Titanic, with 'real-time' tweets as if from passengers and crew on board, describing the voyage and the disaster that followed as they happened. @TitanicRealTime won the IPG's Nielsen Digital Marketing Award 2013, as well as receiving a commendation for the Futurebook Awards 2012 'Best integrated digital marketing campaign' and being nominated for The Bookseller's Marketing Campaign of the Year 2013. The page attracted well over one hundred thousand followers and even received celebrity endorsement from Emma Stone in Vogue magazine.

<description>The History Press's Then &#38; Now series is one I have had the pleasure of working on for quite some time now, I have designed almost a hundred titles in the series. The covers are great fun to design - intricately blending a historic photograph into a modern image of the same scene today. The internals follow the same theme, comparing and contrasting old and new photographs of the scene.

<description>Designed for The History Press, not a guide to is series of pocket-sized collections of entertaining and quirky facts about the towns and cities of the UK. Adapted from an older series, I was asked to modernise their appearance, and opted for a bold colour palette and strong identity built around the map of the British Isles.

Titan are an 80’s Glam Metal revival band, all about show and spectacle. I have reflected this with a custom-designed suitably flashy 3D logo.

I chose to create a poster for each day, and display these in a book format, the posters pull out of the cover sleeve, and can be reordered as much as the reader desires.
